Scammers!

Howards van lines is a con. Do not use them. They will lie to get you to sign a contract, then demand payment without ability to cancel and threaten lawsuits if you don’t. Their whole business model seems to be a scam.

They handled everything very well.

This crew's use of environmentally friendly materials, such as reusable containers instead of disposable boxes, impressed me. They provided recycled-material packaging paper! They covered my reclaimed wood coffee table with moving blankets and protected my framed artwork in recyclable wooden boxes. They quickly unloaded everything and helped me properly stack the empty containers for later collection.

Long-distance move from Cheltenham, MD to Berwick, IA

The movers were very rude and unprofessional;

Instead of working, these guys spent the entire time arguing. One kept complaining that the other was not lifting right, and at one point, they were literally shouting at each other in my hallway. I just stood there awkwardly, waiting for them to actually do their job. Also, they dropped my nightstand because they were too busy bickering, and now it has a huge dent in it.
